         Quadruped Studies - Leopard

This leopard walk cycle was a recent project and my very first attempt at animating a quadruped. It was quite challenging to accomplish, and I am thankful to my peers who gave me great advice, and that there was plenty of reference footage online. Even so, there are definitely a few areas that need to be touched up to make it flow more naturally.

3D Character Animation - (CAGD 441) Spring 2025 Demo Reel

This demo reel was created at the end of the previous semester, and was the year that I started learning how to make characters more expressive, especially with this being our introduction to facial rigs. The most important thing that I learned in this class was that I needed to push the poses further in my animations if I was really going to sell the expressiveness in their movement. As you can tell from the video, I was gradually getting better at it. Looking back at my work from this semester, there is much I would like to refine with these animations, but I definitely made good progress.

Body Mechanics - (CAGD 340) Fall 2024 Demo Reel

This was the first semester in which I had the opportunity to experiment with full-body characters. While I found it challenging to get them moving naturally, I learned a lot about how human rigs control. I also had a chance to experiment with dynamic poses.

        Computer Animation - (CAGD 340)

These two animations were from my first semester of animating. The top one was my very first walk cycle, which I had a lot of fun animating. If I were to fix this today, I'd probably clean up the rubberbanding on the back right leg. As for the other animation, it told a funny story, although I can definitely tell the timing needs to be readjusted.
